Participation Programs

 

This page lists ideas which may be helpful for clubs in promoting themselves.

 

Open Days

Tennis Victoria will assist clubs by providing a free Club Open Day Promotional Pack. The Pack includes:

  • Club Open Day posters that you will be able to personalise;
  • A CD Rom with a generic media release, ideas for promotion and activities, participant registration form and a club feedback form to complete after your Open Day;
  • Promotional items including a giant tennis ball, four cans of tennis balls, three caps, three drink bottles, three tubes of sunscreen, and giveaways; and
  • Loan of racquets and a radar gun.

To receive this support clubs need to register with Tennis Victoria (download form here, Word .doc format, 97 KB).

MLC Tennis Hot Shots

MLC Hot Shots is a grassroots participation program for children 6 - 12. More information is available in the links to MLC Tennis Hot Shots and MLC Tennis Hot Shots Challenges.

Mums' Tennis Program

A 5-week program for health, fitness and fun. It provides an opportunity for mothers to meet and socialise in their local area. More information is available from Tennis Victoria.

 

Seniors' Social Tennis Program

The program aims to provide those aged 35 and over with the opportunity to play tennis on a social basis. More information is available from Tennis Victoria.

 

Tennis Disability Program Victoria

There are a number of programs for different disabilities, and disability coaching courses are available. More information from Tennis Victoria.
